Girls Varsity Basketball Senior Night by Skylar Coberely

The Bay City Central Girls Varsity Basketball Team scored a win over Tawas and was a perfect ending to the class of 2019 playing in the Bay City Central Gymnasium. All ten girls on the team scored for a 63-19 win over the braves. The four seniors played a hard and emotional game, as they all knew that it would be their last game in the gym.

This season is Sabrina Villareal's first year on varsity due to an acl tear sophomore year. She has been a big addition to the team and plans on going to Michigan State University to major in Veterinary Science.

Ariella Cuellar has been on varsity for two years and also runs track and cross country. She plans on attending Saginaw Valley State University to major in social work.

Madison Evans has been on varsity for two years and also plays softball. Evans plans on continuing her athletic and academic career at Mid-Michigan Community College on a softball scholarship to major in dental hygiene.

Skylar Coberley has been on varsity for four years and also plays varsity volleyball and softball. Coberley plans on continuing her athletic and academic career at Central Michigan University on a softball scholarship to major in pre-physical therapy.

Freshman Alecsis Smith led all scores with 19 points while Coberley had 12. Brooke Beyer and Villareal tallied seven.
